The Skin of the Goat features a collection of essays, conversations and recipes from the artists, writers, researchers and participants who inhabited New York artist Robin Kahn’s The Art of Sahrawi Cooking project which took place at dOCUMENTA(13) in Kassel, Germany, during the summer of 2013. The book compiles some thought provoking texts in the form of a recipe book, with each contributor utilizing a familiar dish as the starting point to share impressions on social economy, exchange, hospitality, and reciprocity. This publication is full of inspiring conversation and makes for a thoughtful cuisine!
