Our Mission
EXILE started back in 2014 as a nomadic pop-up artist’s bookstore that migrated throughout Miami for over three years! We have finally settled into our first brick and mortar store in the historic Little Haiti neighborhood. EXILE is dedicated to advancing the circulation, understanding of, and engagement with artist’s publications. EXILE seeks to establish a pervasive print culture in Miami by promoting independent publishing that represents and serves our diverse community.

EXILE relies on the support of individuals, corporations, and foundations to provide audiences of all ages and backgrounds with engaging access to print culture. Your contribution helps ensure EXILE will continue to thrive as an innovative cultural project, strengthening the fabric of South Florida’s literary community.
