Printed Matter is pleased to partner with EXILE Books, an experimental, hybrid installation and retail operation conceived of by artist Amanda Season Keeley. The pop-up artist’s bookstore will migrate throughout several locations in Miami, spending approximately 4-6 weeks housed in every location. All of the mobile store components are designed by Keeley, with a stylistic nod towards Donald Judd and the memphis group. The store will feature modular units on wheels, lounge style seating, and adaptable displays that will be reconfigured and arranged to accommodate each new residence. An opening for the first iteration of the installation will take place at Locust Projects this Saturday, September 13, 7-10 PM.
