Kim Gordon in conversation with Amanda Keeley, founder of EXILE Books

The de la Cruz Collection and EXILE Books present Kim Gordon in conversation with Amanda Keeley, founder of EXILE Books. Gordon, an artist, writer, musician, and actor will discuss her multifaceted career as well as her latest book release, Girl in A Band. The event will serve to commence the ICA 365 Block party weekend where Gordon’s band Body/Head is slated to perform the following night, Saturday, November 21st, at the ICA Miami Benefit Gala.

“In Conversation" is a continuation of the cultural projects the de la Cruz Collection and EXILE Books aims to present through a series of curated lectures by distinguished artists, writers, musicians, curators, and cultural figures. Additionally, “In Conversation...Kim Gordon” will be the inaugural discussion in a series hosted by de la Cruz Collection in partnership with EXILE Books. This collaborative lecture series is an extension of EXILE and Keeley’s one-year residency in the Collection’s project room. As a part of their shared commitment to education and the fostering of intellectual dialogue within Miami, this series will stand as a catalyst for the exchange of ideas focusing on women in the arts engaged with innovative publishing and the production of radical cross-disciplinary discourse.
