A Taste of Orange EXILE Books and Amann at Wolfsonian - FIU

Join us Thursday, January 21st at 7 p.m. at Wolfsonian - FIU for A TASTE OF ORANGE.

A curated dining experience in celebration of orange, A TASTE OF ORANGE will explore the color's taste, feel, look, smell, and sound.

Amanda Keeley and Richard Massey will launch the evening with a book presentation detailing the production of Orange Oratory, EXILE's newest title. Orange Oratory plumbs the depths of the Wolfsonian archive to present items that do not normally appear on view to the public, unearthing South Florida's relationship to the color orange, the citrus industry, and the region's history as an exotic tourist destination.

A dining experience by Annam—an organic, South-Indian food service—will follow, accompanied by music by David Brieske & Fernando Subirats. Annam is dedicated to using traditional and locally sourced ingredients, making use of recipes from the kitchens of their mothers, aunts, and grandmothers in the villages and big bustling cities of India. Concrete Beach Brewery has made a special selection of craft beer to pair with each course.

Immerse yourself in orange as we transform the Wolfsonian’s entry corridor into a landscape ripe for exploration.
