The Little Haiti Zine Workshop with Akete Chevers & Edny Jean Joseph

Join EXILE for a free zine workshop with community-based artists Akete Chevers and Edny Jean Joseph at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex. 

Make a zine using source material from the HistoryMiami Museum archive that Chevers and Jean Joseph have curated to unearth the dynamic history of Little Haiti. 

In addition to zine making and binding, live screen-printing will be available on site to supplement the publication process using equipment donated by de la Cruz Collection.

All materials will be provided, and a copy of every zine will be donated to the HistoryMiami Museum archive to preserve the independent histories that comprise our city's unique cultural voice . 

This event is free and open to the public.
