It’s been five whole years since we started this thing, and we truly couldn’t have done it without you and your passion for print! Back when we hosted the inaugural Miami Zine Fair in 2014, our goal was to establish a progressive print culture that served established book artists and would-be creators and readers alike locally and across South Florida. Since then, we’ve expanded almost twofold every single year in size, tables, attendees––and this year, for the first time, we’ll take up two entire days at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex. Mark your calendars for April 6th...and 7th!
The Miami Zine Fair prides itself in representing the wide variety of makers and shakers who embrace the art of self-publishing in our city, engaging individuals of all ages and backgrounds by placing a real-life, self-made book in each of their hands––the sort of book they could make themselves. There’s truly something for everyone! A portion of our proceeds will be donated to Tradisyon Lakou Lakay, which programs public arts and cultural youth initiatives in Little Haiti, our vibrant homefront and neighborhood.
