WE GOT A WAVEMAKER GRANT!!

We're excited to announce that we've been awarded a Locust Project's 2021 WaveMaker Grant for our project 30 Days of Versailles. For this unique activation, EXILE Books will facilitate a temporary intervention in Miami's iconic Versailles Restaurant (a truly historic landmark of Cuban cuisine and culture) to celebrate it's 50th Anniversary and it's ties to Miami's cultural heritage, Cuban Identity, and Latin Cuisine. We can't wait to take a savory s bite out of this one.

Since 2015, WaveMaker has awarded over $450,000 to 90 of Miami’s visionary artists. This year's awardees will receive up to $6,000 each in three categories – New Work / Projects, Long-Haul Projects, and R&D + Implementation – to create innovative work that will be shared with the public beyond traditional exhibition spaces. Congrats to all the winners!
