The Rationality of The Irrational at The Standard

Karen Murillo and Rune Degett explore technodeterminism, magic, and the human need to be irrational through a guided meditation at The Standard Spa Miami Beach on “The Rationality of the Irrational,” incorporating hand-made ceramic works and poetry. Through the use of both white-cube laboratory aesthetics and primitive wabi-sabi works, this artistic collaboration aims to bring light to the rhetorical and ideological oppression of the human spirit.
