On, November 21 EXILE opens its Artist’s Book Lounge at the Miami Book Fair International. The Miami Book Fair is an annual literary event that celebrates authors and books from around the world. The Fair, which is in its 31st year, is located in Downtown Miami on the campus of Miami Dade School. And this year, for the first time, EXILE is proud to become a part of the event!
The Artist’s Book Lounge is our third pop-up location and will present a selection of curated titles in a space designed to allow our guests to relax, browse, and enjoy. We have tables set up for some of our biggest publishers including Printed Matter, Karma, Siglio, Boo Hooray, Christine Burgin, Book Works, and many others.
Outside our lounge, look out for Yoko Ono’s “Wish Trees,” an interactive artwork where you can create and place your very own wish. Inside, our founder, Amanda Keeley, will offer books tours while music provided by Miami’s own SWEAT records gets you in the right mood for some browsing.
Also in our lounge, EXILE will also host a number of speakers and presenters related to our titles. Check our our program schedule below to see what will be happening and come stop by any time to listen, relax, and read.
