Experience this building: Orientation & Mobility Tours for DWNTWN Art Days

Join us this Saturday, September 12th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. as we partner with Miami Lighthouse for the Blind for blindfolded, architectural tours.

EXILE Books and Miami Lighthouse for the Blind will join forces for Downtown Art Days to lead guided, blindfolded tours of the Old U.S. Post Office and Courthouse, currently the Miami Center for Architecture and Design. Using a mobility cane and heightened senses, explore the way individuals with visual impairments experience architecture.

Attendees will learn to better focus on the sounds and sensory experiences of our unique landscape, altering their relationship to each the building and our city's architecture.

Tours run every thirty minutes between 11:00 and 2:00pm. Free and open to the public.
