EXILE Books and Women Photographers International Archive (WOPHA) invite you to join us for a panel discussion and book release for Becoming Sisters: Women Photography Collectives & Organizations.
This photo book, was published in November as part of the WOPHA Congress, the immersive in-person and virtual creative convening that took place at PAMM and several locations across Miami from November 17-20, 2021. Presented alongside the WOPHA Congress, this publication serves as a registry and collective manifesto of forty international women and non-binary collectives and like minded organizations, among them, Fast Forward: Women in Photography, Foto Féminas and Women Photograph and nearly one hundred women-identified and non binary photographers, including Paz Errázuriz, Nona Faustine and Laurie Simmons, doing extraordinary work to reframe the dominant narratives of photography history.
