The Persistence of Me at the Lowe Art Museum

While our bodies morph and change constantly on an atomic level, a sense of Self lingers. Science and psychology tell us memory is the source of this consistency. I am because I remember. Yet how is our past history shaped by our present self?

The Persistence of Me is a generative zine workshop where participants are invited to explore the backstage of identity. Have a crafty Saturday, enjoy coffee and donuts and make a zine exploring the key memories that define you and how this present you is constantly re-writing a personal historical narrative fittest for your current ME. The workshop is free with purchase of a zine and all materials and supplies are provided.
